Italian Garlic Bread Recipe
2 teaspoons olive oil
¾ teaspoon dried marjoram
1 clove garlic halved (optional)
½ teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 cloves garlic minced
8 ounces French bread
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Preheat the oven up to 350 degrees. In a small bowl combine the garlic and the oil mixing well. In another bowl combine parsley, thyme, marjoram and paprika. Add some parmesan, mixing well. Cut each loaf lengthwise.
NOTE: If you prefer extra garlic flavor take the halved clove and rub the cut side of bread, brushing with garlic oil. Sprinkle some herb mix on top of the garlic oil. Wrap loosely (do not let the foil touch the herb/oil mixture) in foil and place it on baking sheet. Bake until it is heated through, about 10-15 minutes. Unwrap and slice.
