Italian Pizza Dough Recipe

3 cups flour
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
¾ cup cool water
1 (¼ ounce) envelope active dry yeast
¼ cup warm water
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon honey

Preparation Instructions:

Combine honey, salt, olive oil, and cool water in a small bowl. Mix it all well and set it aside. In a separate bowl, combine the yeast and warm water. Let it sit for ten minutes. After proofing, combine the honey mixture and yeast in one large mixing bowl. Add flour, one cup at a time, into the liquid mixture. Add a cup of water if it`s too dry. Place the dough ball on a lightly floured surface and knead until smooth. Place the dough in a covered, buttered bowl and allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes. A slightly warmed oven (90 degrees) is great. Divide the dough into two equal sized balls. If you are using a pizza stone, place the stone in the oven and preheat oven to 450 for at least ten minutes. Roll out into two pies and add your favorite sauce and topping combinations.
