Cheesy Garlic Bread | Best Ever Cheesy Garlic Bread recipe | Soft Garlic Bread Sticks (VIDEO)

Garlic Bread is everybody’s favorite and your response to the poll was so clear that I had to make Garlic Bread. This recipe is of Cheese Stuffed Garlic Bread Sticks wherein the bread is very soft and cheesy at the same time.

So let’s get started to make this tasty garlic bread recipe.

Ingredients and procedure :

– All Purpose Flour ( 2 cups )
– Salt to taste
– Instant Yeast ( 1 and 1/2 Tsp)
( You can use active dry yeast or fresh yeast, just read the package instructions carefully before use. Here in this recipe I’m using Yellow Crumb Instant Yeast )
– Sugar (1 Tbsp)
– Milk Powder (1/4 cup)
– Mix dry ingredients very well
– Warm Water (1/2 Cup + 2 Tbsp )
( You have to add water enough to make the dough very soft nearly unmanageable )
– Knead for 2 – 3 min
( I’m using a machine to knead but you can knead with a bigger spoon or spatula, but remember the dough must be very soft so it may constantly stick to your hands and thats the reason why I have used machine )
– Softened Butter (1/4 Cup)
– Knead again till the butter is well incorporated
– After adding butter check if the dough is soft and difficult to handle
– Oil the bowl
– Tug in the sides and keep it in a larger bowl
– Cover and rest it for 1 – 2 hours
– Till the dough size is almost doubled in size

Till the dough rises lets make garlic butter

Here I have used a food processor as I want everything to be cut in pieces. You can certainly use a knife and chop them as fine as you like

– Garlic (2 Tbsp)
– Fresh Oregano (1/2 Tsp)
( If you are using dried Oregano put 1/4 Tsp)
– Parsley ( 2 Tbsp)
( Put fresh coriander if parsley is not available )
– Chop it as finely as possible
– In a bowl take softened butter (1/3 cup)
– Put chopped garlic & herbs
– Mix it well
– Garlic butter is ready


After 2 hours :

– Punch it
– Divide the dough
( makes 2 garlic bread with 10 bread sticks each )
– Tucks the sides in to form a ball
– Let’s work on 1 dough ball first
– Flour the surface
– Roll the dough in circle ( Thickness should be approx 5 mm )
– Put 2 – 3 Tbsp Garlic Butter ( You can add as much as you like )
– Spread it evenly leaving the sides so that it becomes easy to seal it.
Mozzarella Cheese (1/2 Cup)
– Sprinkle Cayenne Pepper ( Optional )
You can add chilli flakes also
– Fold it in half
– Seal the edges properly
– If you do not seal it properly then cheese may ooze out and your Oven will be a mess.
– Place it on a lined oven tray
– Brush some more garlic butter
– Make Bread sticks marks
( Do not cut it fully. Marks will also help channel the steam )
– Pre – heat Oven at 200C & bake for 15 – 20 min
– Check how soft the bread is.
– The softness and the texture will define the taste of garlic bread
