Bold and Beautiful Raw Vegan Marinara (oil free) (VIDEO)

Growing up my mother always had a pot of marinara bubbling on the stove ready to be incorporated into and/or ladled over various Italian dishes – just thinking about it makes my mouth water! 😉 When I discovered Raw Foods, I knew I had to find a way to replicate my favorite sauce, so here it is, my take on my Mother’s Delicious Marinara Sauce ~ buon appetito!

Ingredients:
-4 ripe roma tomatoes, quartered
-1/2 C sundried tomatoes, reconstituted in filtered water for at least 30 minutes
-1/4 C fresh basil, chiffonade
-1 garlic clove, remove germ
-1/2-1 tsp chili flakes
-1 tsp coconut crystals or 1 medjool date (pitted)
-1 Tbsp Italian Seasoning Blend
-1 lemon, juiced
-1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt
-1 tsp black pepper
