Italian Meatloaf (VIDEO)

Italian Meatloaf serves 2-4 people

1 pound ground pork
2 slices of white bread, soaked in milk
1 egg
2 teaspoons dried onion
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1/2 teaspoon crushed red chili flake
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
pepper
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons fresh, chopped Italian parsley
2 tablespoons grated pecorino cheese
1 cup Italian tomato sauce
3-4 slices of provolone or low moisture mozzerella cheese


-Preheat oven to 350 and grease a meatloaf pan or a baking tray
– In a bowl, crack the egg. Squeeze the milk out of the bread. Tear it in pieces and add to the bowl.
– Add the next 9 ingredients and stir.
– Last, add the ground pork and mix well with your hands.
– Shape into a football and top with the tomato sauce bake in a 350 oven for 30 minutes.
– Remove and add the slices of cheese and top with grated cheese. Bake for another 15 minutes.
– Wait 15 minutes before cutting into.
***Serve with garlic mashed potatoes or polenta. Yum!
