Italian Pork Burgers with Parmesan Thyme French Fries (VIDEO)
|For the burger:
3 cups ground pork
1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning blend
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup garlic mayonnaise
2 tablespoons finely chopped sun dried tomatoes
1 tablespoon freshly chopped sweet basil
1 tablespoon tomato paste
salt and pepper to taste
For the topping:
lettuce
sliced tomatoes
sliced onion
sprouts
low moisture mozzerella cheese (Make sure it’s low moisture or the cheese will be too watery and make your burger soggy)
Directions:
– Add all the spices to the ground pork. Form into 4 patties and let them rest in the fridge while you prepare other ingredients.
– Mix the mayonnaise, sun-dried tomato, basil, salt and pepper together and set aside.
– Fry pork burger on each side for about 8 minutes. Add mozzerella cheese to melt. Meanwhile, toast the burger buns.
– To assemble, add mayonnaise sauce to each side of burger. Add lettuce, burger, onion, tomato, and sprouts and top with bun top.
6 baking potatoes, cut into French fry strips
olive oil
sea salt
pepper
2-3 tablespoon fresh thyme
1/4 cup fresh grates Parmesan cheese
– Add the oil, thyme, salt, pepper to the potato strips and mix well. Evenly layer them on a baking sheet.
– Bake at 400F for 30 minutes. Crank the heat to 450F and continue to rotate and flip fries until nice and crispy.
– To finish, top with parmesan and bake for 10 more minutes. Serve with lemon mayonnaise or ketchup!
