Masta The Pasta: Lamb Ragu (VIDEO)
|Got your Sunday arvo free and keen for some slow cooked warm and fuzziness? Then whack a lamb shoulder in the oven for a few hours and get your mates to bring round a coupla bottles of red! This ones a delight folks.
:: Ingredients ::
3 Carrots
1/2 Onion
Bulb Garlic
Lamb Shoulder
Thyme
Rosemary
1 Cup Red Wine
1 Cup Water
Large Can Tinned Tomatoes
Fettuccine
:: Recipe ::
Preheat oven to 130 degrees
Bang lamb shoulder, veges and tomatoes in a large baking dish
Cook for 4 hrs
Take Lamb Shoulder out
Reduce liquid down on the stove on a low/med heat
While sauce is reducing, shread lamb shoulder
Cook fettuccine with salted boiling water until al dente
Take sauce off the stove, add lamb shoulder
Drain pasta and combine with sauce
Top with parmesan and VOILA
