This Slow Cooker Beef Ragu with Rigatoni Pasta Was Delicious (VIDEO)

A traditional Northern Italian Dish, ‘Ragu’ is typically and tomato and wine based dish, which is served with Pasta. This slow cooker beef Ragu is no different, based on tomatoes and red wine, using diced stewing beef and finished with rigatoni pasta, this is as traditional as we can get with our slow cooker.

The Pasta stage is completely optional, we cooked it for and hour in the sauce and it did come out amazing, but you can cook the pasta separately and add it at the 6 hour stage or cook it and serve it separately, that is completely your choice.

Serves 3-4

750g Diced Stewing Beef
2 White Onions
1 bunch of Basil
2 Tablespoons of Paprika
1 Teaspoon of Garlic Puree
1 Tablespoon of Tomato Puree
1 Beef Stock Pot
1 Tin of chopped Tomatoes
250ml Red Wine
