Hatfield Italian Sausage Spinach Bites (VIDEO)

Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 30 minutes | Serves: 10

Ingredients:
1 pack Hatfield® Recipe Essentials™ Hot or Sweet Italian Ground Sausage
1 (5 oz) bag chopped baby spinach, wilted and drained
2 cups of your favorite stuffing mix
½ cup parmesan cheese
2 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp black pepper
½ cup butter, melted
3 eggs, lightly beaten


Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a sauté pan over medium high heat, cook sausage, stirring and breaking up with a spoon. Cook until sausage is fully browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and cool to room temperature.
Once sausage is cooled, add wilted spinach, stuffing mix, cheese, garlic, pepper, butter, and eggs.
Allow mixture to sit for 10 minutes so that eggs can soak in.
Shape into walnut-sized balls and place on parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until browned and heated through. Transfer to a platter and serve.
