Cheesy, crispy, hot, garlicky mini pies. Away with traditional garlic bread. This Homemade Cheese Stuffed Garlic Bread Hot Pocket snack recipe is your new BFF.

What are cheesy garlic bread hot pockets? They’re mini pies or like cheesy hand pies. They’re your new snack attack, my friend.

When I was a kid, garlic bread was considered kids food and I couldn’t get enough of it. These though, these…. these have loads of mozzarella cheese AND they’re deep fried.

. Yeah, I’m talking about fried cheese that you can hold in your hand. Hot, crunchy and cheesy that you can take on the go. Think about cheesy garlic bread with more cheese than bread.

This recipe is an easy way to fake the baking. That means faster food in your mouth. The only thing you need to prep is the garlic, and even that you can get pre-chopped garlic. So really you have no excuse not to eat these cheesy, garlicky snackums!

Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread Hot Pocket
2 containers of Pillsbury Seamless Dough Sheets
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp of chopped garlic… but you can use as much as you’d like!
8 oz. of soft Mozzarella sliced into 1/2″ rounds
Oil for frying 3″
round cookie/biscuit cutter

Combine garlic, butter and oregano.

Lay out the dough sheets and brush on the butter mixture onto one of the sheets.

Add a single layer of the sliced mozzarella

Place the top dough sheet onto the cheese, and gently roll it with the rolling pin just to stick them together.

Now, cut out your pies.

Use a fork to pretty up those edges, and make sure they stay put.

Fry them up one at a time in the hot (350 degree) oil, until they’re evenly golden.
