Pasta In Spicy Tomato Sauce (VIDEO)
Boiled fusilli pasta tossed in spicy tomato sauce.
PASTA IN SPICY TOMATO SAUCE
2 cups boiled fusilli pasta
1 cup tomato concasse
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1½ teaspoons red chilli flakes
10 grams parmesan cheese
5-6 fresh basil leaves
A fresh basil sprig for garnishing
Method
1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add onion and sauté till translucent.
2. Add tomato concasse, mix and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add oregano and chilli flakes and mix. Add pasta, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Grate in parmesan cheese, add torn basil leaves and mix well.
4. Serve hot garnished with a basil sprig.
