Egg whites in a cup, or egg mug, is an unusual recipe perhaps for many, but widely used among athletes.

It is a preparation suitable for a high-protein, quick and tasty snack, free of fat and cholesterol.

Pay attention to the cooking time, the egg white must not harden too much. This recipe uses Le Naturelle egg whites which are available in Italy, but you can use fresh egg whites or any other brand of packaged egg whites available to you.

INGREDIENTS:

100 g egg whites
3 green broccoli florets
2 tablespoons diced carrots
2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
butter
salt
pepper

1. Cut the carrot into very small cubes and divide the broccoli into florets. After lightly buttering a cup, transfer the vegetables and microwave for 30 seconds at 800W.

2. Mix the vegetables and pour over the dose of egg whites and a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Microwave again for 1 minute always at 800W. Take the cup and stir a second time, if necessary microwave again for 20 seconds, the egg white should be completely firm. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
