Amazing Sous Vide Braised Short Rib Ragu (VIDEO)

1 bottle of your favorite red pasta sauce/homemade tomato sauce is even better!
1 pack of short ribs (4 pcs)
1 pound of pasta
1/2 cup red wine (optional)
freshly grated parmesan cheese
salt & pepper

1. Freeze tomato sauce in a ziplock bag.
2. Season short ribs with salt and pepper
3. Heat up some oil in a cast iron pan and sear the short ribs when the pan is smoking hot. Sear until golden brown on all sides.
4. Place the seared short ribs in a vacuum seal bag along with the frozen tomato sauce.
5. Sous vide at 185F for 24 hours.
6. After 24 hours, take the short ribs out of the bag and set aside.
7. Pour the tomato sauce in a pot, add red wine (optional) and let it reduce.
8. Just before serving, place the short ribs back into the sauce.
9. Serve with your favorite pasta topped with grated parmesan cheese!
