Easy Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe (VIDEO)

We must say we’re quite surprised it took us so long to present this recipe to you as it is an absolute all time classic! This recipe is very basic, so it leaves you the oppertunity to add any ingredients you like: veggies, bacon… or to make it vegetarian without the meat!

== INGREDIENTS ==

– 300g of minced meat (€3.50~$4.2 for 500g)
– 1 can of peeled tomatoes (€0.27~$0.35 for 1 can)
– About 1 to 2 tablespoons of tomato puree (€0.65~$0.85 for 1 can)
– 1 red onion (€0.19~$0.25 for +/- 150g)
– Some beefstock (€0.35~$0.45 for 120g)
– About 100g of mushrooms (€1.14~$1.48 for 250g)
– Basil (€0.99~$1.3 per pot of 6g)
– Oregano (€0.99~$1.3 per pot of 6g)
– Cayenne pepper (€0.99~$1.3 per pot of 6g)
– Pepper
– Salt


== RECIPE ==

1. Chop up the mushrooms very fine
2. Also chop up the red onion super fine!
3. Put the mushrooms in a a pot with heated olive oil
4. Let them fry fora bout 5 minutes
5. When they’re about half done, add the onions
6. Let them fry for another 5 minutes
7. In the meanwhile season with salt
8. Add the meat to the veggies and stirr very well, make sure you seperate the meat into small pieces
9. Season the mixture with basil, oregano, cayenne pepper and pepper and mix well
10. When the meat is completely fried, make a little hole in the middle of your pot and place the tomato puree in the hole
11. Keep stirring just the tomato puree in that hole untill you see the consistency change.
12. Then mix the puree through the rest of the veggies and meat
13. Add about a laddle of beefstock and stirr again
14. Let it simmer fora bout 5 minutes
15. Add the peeled tomatoes and mix them through the veggies and meat, make sure to squish any big lumbs of tomato
16. Finally let it all simmer for at least 20 minutes, but the more the better!

QUICK TIP: if you think your sauce is too thick, rince out your can with somer beefstock and pour it in there!
