How To Make Focaccia Bread | Italian Bread (VIDEO)

Packed with flavours, focaccia bread, with some salad on the side, can be a real delight on your winter time dinner table.

Ingredients:
– 650 Ml water
– 200 Ml olive oil
– 30 Gms castor sugar
– 40 Gms yeast
– 1 Kg flour
– Oil
– Butter
– 1 Onion
– Mixed herbs
– Olive oil


Method:
1) In a bowl take the water in required quantity & add olive oil to it.
2) Add castor sugar, followed by yeast.
3) Mix & keep aside.
4) Into the bowl of flour, add salt & mix.
5) Add the water-olive oil mix to the flour & mix well.
6) Once a dough has formed, transfer it to the work surface & start kneading it smoother.
7) Add some olive oil & knead again.
8) Apply butter to the work surface & knead the dough on the buttered surface.
9) Add olive oil again & knead.
10) Once the dough is formed, leave it prove for 20 minutes.
11) For the onion mix – slice one large onion.
12) To it, add some olive oil & mixed herbs and mix well.
13) To bake – use a circular pan.
14) Butter the insides of the pan.
15) Transfer the dough inside & add the onion mix to it.
16) Bake at 150C for 15 minutes.

The Focaccia is now ready to relish!
