HOW TO MAKE WHEAT AND OATS PIZZA AT HOME /HOMEMADE HEALTHY PIZZA WITHOUT OVEN
Step to step guide of making pizza with wheat flour and oats powder at home without yeast
Ingredients
For making pizza dough
* Wheat flour – 1 cup
* Oats powder – 1/2 cup
* Baking powder – 1 Tsp
* Baking soda – 1/2 Tsp
* Curd – 2 Tbsp
* Italian seasoning/ oregano – 1/4 Tsp
* salt to taste
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* Warm water as required, to knead
* for toppings: (your choice of veggies)
* 1-2 tbsp pizza sauce
* Onions – Sliced
* Red and orange capsicum – 1/4 Cup (sliced or diced)
* 9 pickled jalapeños, based on spice level
* Black olives – 1/4 cup, chopped
* Tomato – 1 (seeded and diced)
* Mozzarella cheese – 1/2 cup – 1 cup grated
* ½ tsp oregano / italian seasonings / mixed herbs
Instructions
Making pizza dough without yeast
1. Add wheat flour, oats powder, baking powder, baking soda, curd, salt and Italian seasoning to a mixing bowl. Mix everything well.
3. Add warm water slowly and knead well
5. Mix and make a soft dough. Knead for about 5 to 6 minutes until the dough turns very soft but not sticky.
6. Add olive oil to the dough and mix well.
8. Cover with damp cloth and set this aside for about an hour.
Making pizza
1. After an hour take the dough on floured surface. Dust the rolling board lightly and roll the dough. Roll it slightly thicker than a chapati.
2. Prick the centre of dough with the help of fork.
4. Heat the tawa. When it turns hot, add olive oil and transfer pizza base on the tawa. Cover with lid and cook on a low heat for 8-10 minutes.
5. When you see it has cooked well, flip it and continue to keep the flame low.
6. Add few drops of oil and spread well.
8. Add the sauce and the toppings of your choice and spread it.
10. Add mozzarella cheese and herbs.
12. Cover and cook until the cheese begins to melt or 10-15 minutes.
13. Cut tawa pizza and serve hot.
