Classic Tiramisu recipe – Italian Tiramisu Recipe (VIDEO)

This is the classic Italian tiramisu but, I modified the recipe by using just 2 yolks instead of 3, in order to have light mousse.

Ingredients:

2 egg yolks
3 egg whites
175g mascarpone
100g double cream
70g granulated sugar
1 vanilla pod
ladyfinger biscuit
coffee
unsweetened cocoa powder

Method:

1/Mix the egg yolks with sugar, add mascarpone then cream and vanilla. Mix well
2/Whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt or some drops of lemon until the whites are nice and firm.
3/Delicately add the whisked egg to the first preparation.

Assembly

Put a layer of mousse in a cup or a glass, then a layer of biscuit soaked lightly in coffee and another layer of the mousse.
top with cocoa powder.
Put it in the fridge for at least 3 hours. Enjoy!
