Gluten-Free Italian Almond Meringue Cookies: Step by Step (VIDEO)

Here is the list of all ingredients and tools needed to make the famous Italian ”ugly but tasty” biscotti:

INGREDIENTS:
– 6 egg whites
– 1 cup of almonds
– 1 spoon of honey (optional)
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla
– 1 cup of sugar

TOOLS:
– Whisk machine
– Baking sheet
– Bowl
– Pan
– Tablespoon


INSTRUCTIONS:
a. Preheat the oven to 140 degrees c.

b. Put the six eggs white in the bowl.

c. Beat the eggs whites until soft peaks form.

d. Slowly add the sugar and the vanilla.

e. Mix all together with the tablespoon from bottom to top without deflating the egg whites.

f. With a knife, cut the almonds into very small pieces and add them to the mixture.

g. Mix all together with the tablespoon from bottom to top.

h. Pour the mixture into a pan, then, put the pan on soft fire and mix for 4 minutes from bottom to top again.

i. Add the honey.

j. Using a spoon, dollop the mixture onto the baking sheet in other words, just make small balls and put them in the oven for 30 minutes.

k. Remove the biscuits from the oven and let them cool.

NOTE:
You can use either almonds or hazelnuts!!
